Your Guide to Perfectly-Sized Social Media Images

*UPDATED 4/30/21*

There is nothing worse than seeing a poorly cropped image on social media. You know what I am talking about; the images where words are cut off and logos are spliced in half. It’s a graphic designer’s nightmare and usually a function of having the wrong social media image sizes.

Every social media platform has different dimensions. Facebook and Instagram images are square, Twitter and LinkedIn images are horizontal rectangles, and Pinterest is a vertical rectangle. With all these different social media image sizes, how do you know which one is best for each platform?

Never fear, the Fly Pages’ Social Media Image Size Guide is here! We are here to save you from missing letters, cropped images, and cringe-worthy graphics posts. Every image you create on your graphic designing software (i.e. Canva, Facebook editing, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator) can easily be resized by selecting the resizing tool. Just type in the numbers that correspond to the graphic you are creating and voilà! A perfectly sized image is right on your screen.

View our infographic in the link below and get resizing! The social media image size guide covers cover photos, post sizes, profile pics, video sizes and formats for:

  • Facebook
  • LinkedIn
  • Pinterest
  • Google My Business
  • Twitter
  • YouTube
  • Instagram
  • Snapchat
